PRESS RELEASE – JOINT STATEMENT

Weydon Multi Academy Trust and Frogmore Community College are delighted to announce that Frogmore Community College will be joining the Trust with effect from the 1st of October 2024.
Frogmore Community College, which is an 11-16 secondary school based in Yateley will be joining Weydon, Farnham Heath End, Woolmer Hill and Rodborough (secondary schools), Crondall Primary School together with the special schools The Ridgeway, Abbey and Park Schools who all form part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust.
As highly regarded educational providers we are excited about the increased opportunities that will result from this development, both for staff and students.
John Winter, CEO of WMAT said “Frogmore Community College joining us will build capacity and resources for all in the Trust. There is an ongoing need for schools to work together to provide excellent educational opportunities for all, embracing new technologies and building world class sports and creative arts facilities. By coming together, we are able to create specialists in every element of school life. We have worked closely with Frogmore Community College over the last twelve months, and I am confident this development will be a huge success both for students and staff across our family of schools.”
Frogmore Community College enjoys being at the centre of its community, the school takes pride in taking a personal interest in the achievements and well-being of every student within an atmosphere where every student can flourish and meet their potential. The Trust is looking to support the leadership of the school to improve further on these foundations to create alignment with WMAT expectations and aspirations.
Mr Chris Vaudin, Headteacher at Frogmore Community College said “We are excited to be joining such a dynamic and forward-thinking Trust. Frogmore has already begun to develop strong working relationship with all the schools in the Trust and we are looking forward to building on and strengthening that partnership further.
