Home Learning
During any periods of school closure, or when students need to self-isolate, we want to support our students to continue with their learning. We recognise that online learning is no substitute for being in a classroom with a teacher. However, teachers have worked hard to adapt to providing suitable online learning. Students should follow their normal school timetable.
Students will need to make sure that they have access to paper, pen and pencil. Ideally, they will have a quiet space in which to work. Sometimes, teachers will put resources needed for the lesson up on Satchel One. We will try to make sure that these are available in plenty of time before the lesson.
There is further information below about how to log in and get the best of Teams below.
Most importantly, please remember that the staff are here for you, whether that is academically or pastorally. As ever, please do make contact with your child’s tutor or class teachers if you or your child(ren) need support.
Remote Education Provision
The document below provides further information about the school's principles and approach to online and remote learning during periods of lockdown or self-isolation.

Online Safety
For information about staying safe online, visit our online safety page.
Accessing lessons
When over half a class is isolating, or when the school is closed, lessons will take place on Teams. Please refer to this guide for information about how to log in.
You can log in here.
When your child logs into Teams, they will then need to select the relevant class from the menu of Teams and join the lesson using the 'Join' button. Ideally, your child will have their camera turned on at the start of the lesson. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately and that there is nothing personal revealed in the background of the picture.
Accessing resources and submitting work
Some teachers will upload resources in advance of the lesson to Satchel One. Please do check in before the lesson, wherever possible.
Here are some useful guides to using Satchel One successfully:
